TT Welwyn : Line INPUT
A Line Input Resistor is typically a fixed resistor connected in series with the mains input of a power supply.
It serves to (a) limit inrush surge current at switch on. (b) Contribute to lightening surge protection. (c) Prevent fire by fusing safely.
